Staff Preparation Week

Welcome to the beginning of a new school year at Mernda Hills Christian College. I trust you had a wonderful and restorative Christmas / New Year break with your family and loved ones. It is a joy to welcome our students, families and staff back to our campus, and to extend a special welcome to those joining our community for the first time.

This year promises to be an exciting one for our College as we continue to grow, develop and strengthen our learning community. Together, we will focus on fostering a culture of excellence, care and faith, ensuring every student feels known, supported and encouraged to reach their God-given potential.

In the week prior to students commencing Term 1 2026, we welcomed new staff to our team, engaged in planning for the year ahead and participated in our annual training program. This ensures all staff are well prepared and equipped with the knowledge and skills required to respond to emergencies, including First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Warden Training.

While we hope this training is never needed, families can be assured that all staff at Mernda Hills Christian College are appropriately qualified, confident and practiced in responding to these situations.

As our College continues to grow in 2026, we are delighted to welcome the following new staff members to the Mernda Hills Christian College community. Each brings a wealth of experience, fresh perspectives and enthusiasm, and we look forward to the valuable contributions they will make as they support our students and families throughout the year and beyond.
