As we celebrate Early Learning Matters Week, we’re taking a moment to highlight all the incredible ways our ELC students learn, grow, and explore every day! Early education is so much more than play; it’s where foundational skills for life and school are built. Early learning environments provide fertile ground for nurturing this essential trait: empowering children to explore, experiment, and express themselves with assurance. Early learning not only equips children with foundational skills and knowledge but also instills in them the confidence to embrace learning, take risks, and navigate the world with a sense of assurance and optimism.

Here is a glimpse inside our ELC program:

Creative & Fine Motor Skills: From hands-on cooking classes and sensory play with playdough, dried leaves and flowers, to threading beads and pattern-making, our little learners are constantly refining hand-eye coordination, number recognition and spatial awareness.

Confidence & Social Skills: Group time teaches taking turns, following rules and working as a team. Through Show & Tell, students build the confidence to speak in front of their peers, while everyday interactions teach important interpersonal skills like using manners and showing empathy.

School Readiness & Transition: We foster a seamless transition to primary school through interactions with our OSHC students, excursions across the wider school campus, and joining in on primary school events. These connections help our children feel familiar, confident, and excited for their next big step!
