Foundation Transition Buddy Program
Over the past few weeks, our Year 5 and 6 students have teamed up with our Foundation students as part of our much-loved Buddies Program. This special transition initiative plays an integral role in fostering connections between our youngest and oldest primary students, helping to create a warm and supportive school environment.
Through shared activities like reading storybooks, playing together, and enjoying lunch side by side, our Foundation students are gaining more confidence as they settle into school life, knowing they have a trusted older buddy to look up to and find in the schoolyard. At the same time, our Year 5 and 6 students are embracing a sense of responsibility and care, learning valuable leadership skills as they guide and support their younger peers.
We love seeing these friendships flourish and can’t wait for the next visit!
