Community In Action

This year, our College's spiritual theme is Community. In a world plagued with loneliness and anxiety, community is the solution! As explored in Ephesians 1:9, we are reminded that God brings people together with purpose, inviting us into relationship, belonging, and shared hope.

Recently, one of our families shared a simple but powerful story. When their child was going through a tough season, meals quietly appeared at their door, other parents offered lifts to sports training, and teachers checked in, not because anyone was asked, but because people noticed. No grand gestures. Just small acts of care that said, ‘You’re not alone.’ That’s community in action.

True community is built through everyday choices and often small actions. In our homes, it looks like shared meals, open conversations, and time set aside for one another. In our school, it’s kindness in the playground, encouragement in the classroom, and partnership between families and staff. In our relationships, it’s choosing grace, listening well, and showing up when it matters.

As Paul reminds us, God’s plan has always been to draw people together. This week, I encourage you to continue building positive relationships within our College Community. Check in with your children, with our staff, and with God, and share your honest feelings.
