Can you believe we are only just starting the academic year and our students are already achieving amazing things?!
Earlier this month, Levia proudly represented the Diamond Valley Cricket Association (DVCA) at the Under-14 Girls Representative Cricket Carnival, held from 5–18 January. Competing as a 12-year-old at U14 representative level, Levia showed incredible determination and skill throughout the carnival.
The DVCA team finished fifth overall, narrowly missing a semi-final berth after a closely fought match against WRJCA in the Julie Savage Shield, a fantastic effort in a highly competitive field. Levia was also thrilled to receive her representative cap from Mia Perrin, a rising Victorian all-rounder and newly signed rookie for the Womens' National Cricket League 2025–26 season; an inspiring experience for our young cricketer.
Levia’s selection and performance at this level is a significant milestone and a testament to her commitment, hard work, and ongoing development in cricket.
Her parents shared:
'We are extremely grateful for the opportunity and the support the school has shown towards her sporting journey. Thank you once again to Mernda Hills Christian College for recognising and supporting young athletes.'
We are so proud of you, Levia! What an incredible way to start the year!
