Making a Splash at the Secondary House Swimming Carnival!

The Secondary school year kicked off with a massive splash on Wednesday for our annual House Swimming Carnival! Students from all year levels dove into competitive races and novelty events, including a moving Guard of Honour to celebrate our Year 12s at their final Mernda Hills carnival. The energy was electric as Houses earned points for speed, spirit, and creative costumes, culminating in a legendary chant-off where Corliss was crowned the winner by our neutral lifeguards.

While the chants were loud, the racing was even louder. After a day of fierce competition, the final scores have been tallied and Barnett emerged as the winning House, finishing with an incredible 2,401 points! Corliss followed closely behind in a spirited second place with 2,193 points.

Whether you were breaking records or just having a splash in the novelty events, well done to all involved. This success wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated staff and event organizers—thank you for making it a day to remember!
