Harmony Day

Today we celebrated Harmony Day, a celebration of diversity and inclusivity, creating a welcoming space for all students. Our school came to life with students from Foundation to Year 12 proudly wearing their cultural outfit. It was delightful seeing students sharing their traditions through their outfits, fostering mutual understanding and respect.

Guest speaker Dalal, Cultural Diversity Officer from Whittlesea Council, shared her harrowing refugee story with secondary students of when her family fled war-torn Iraq. She reminded us all of the importance of being open, gracious and considerate of others, regardless of their cultural background. Diversity is strength!
