Let's Get Started
At Mernda Hills, we want every prospective family to feel welcomed and supported. We strongly recommend all families tour our ELC and Primary School before applying. This is a great opportunity to meet our staff and get a feel for our learning spaces.
Once we receive your application and processing fee, our enrolment officer will contact you to arrange a visit. While we don't hold formal interviews for Early Learning, we do meet with each applicant before making offers. It’s an opportunity for you to ask more questions, for your child to experience the room, and for our educators to observe them in this setting.
The enrolment team then reviews availability and your preferences for days before sending out offers.
Continuing to Primary School at Mernda Hills Christian College
While Mernda Hills Christian College offers education from Early Learning through to Year 12, an offer of enrolment for the ELC does not guarantee a place in Foundation. Our dedicated enrolment team wants to be sure that we are the right school for each student accepted and that they are ready to thrive in our primary school learning environment. Early Learning families must complete a separate enrolment application for Foundation.

Early Learning enrolment procedure
1. Request Information
If you're excited about joining our Early Learning Centre, we encourage you to attend one of our regular group tours. Our tours are a great opportunity to meet key staff members, as well as other parents and students. Click HERE to find out more and make a booking.

2. Complete an Application Form

3. Visit the ELC
Applicants will be invited to the ELC for a brief visit. This visit allows the child to get a feel for the room while being observed by our educators.
4. Outcome of Application
Your family will receive notification of the outcome of application for requested days, pending existing waiting lists.
Should your application be successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer and Enrolment Agreement. The Terms and Conditions form part of this agreement. You will need to accept the Enrolment Agreement return it to the ELC, together with a bond payment, to secure the enrolment.

5. Confirmation and Commencement
Once your enrolment is confirmed, the Early Learning team will contact you with details on the next steps. This includes session details, access to the Xplor Home app, and other important information to help prepare for your child's exciting journey with us.
