The successful applicant will have the ability to teach VCE, with expertise in Chemistry highly desirable and the ability to teach Psychology considered an advantage.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:
- Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
- Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
- Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
- Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system

- Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the college's Christian-based ethos
