Primary Education Support Officer

Mernda Hills Christian College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Education Support Officers to join its Primary Department. This is a part-time (3 days per week) position, commencing from Term 3

The focus of the Education Support Officer is to assist individual students or small groups of students, during learning and extra-curricular activities, including sports days and excursions, as directed by the classroom teacher. In addition, the Education Support Officer also assists in the preparation, distribution and collection of classroom materials and administrative duties, such as the keeping of student and equipment records.

Ideally, you'll bring the following repertoire of experience to your role:

  • Certificate III in School-Based Education Support (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
