Salary - As per the Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Enterprise Agreement

Mernda Hills Christian College is seeking to employ Primary LOTE teacher (Languages include French, Spanish or Auslan to plan and deliver curriculum at their primary campus. This role is part-time (0.4 FTE).

The focus of the LOTE teacher is on the planning, preparation and teaching of LOTE programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The LOTE teacher will teach a range of students/classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of their programs. The LOTE teacher utilizes critical reflection in order to improve knowledge and skills to better engage students and improve their learning. This position is open to graduates.

Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelors Degree in Education (with specialisation in LOTE an advantage)
  • Proficient in speaking and writing French, Spanish or Auslan
  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching

Salary range is $78-116k based on years of experience.
