Key Responsibilities:

The focus of the Food Technology Assistant is to provide practical assistance to the Food Technology teacher/s, ensuring the smooth delivery of the curriculum and a safe, effective learning environment for students. The role will involve preparing and maintaining food technology equipment and ingredients, assisting with class demonstrations, managing food safety protocols, and supporting the teacher in the classroom and during practical lessons.

Application Requirements:

The successful applicant will hold a qualification or experience in food technology, hospitality or a related field. A food handling certificate is essential and a first aid level 2 certificate is preferred. Applicants must hold a Working With Children Check card.
