Role Description:
Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking to employ a Secondary Science teacher to join the team at Mernda Hills Christian College. This is a full-time, fixed term position for Term 4, 2024. The teaching load includes VCE Chemistry and Psychology.
The focus of the Classroom Teacher is on the planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The Classroom Teacher will teach a range of students/classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of their programs. An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the characteristics and values of the Seventh-day Adventist school system in all aspects of learning and teaching. The Classroom Teacher utilizes critical reflection in order to improve knowledge and skills to better engage students and improve their learning.
